The ABS National Accounts database contains all of the time series from the Australian Bureau of Statistics annual publication Australian System of National Accounts (ABS 5204.0).
The ABS National Accounts database presents Australia's national accounts on a basis consistent with the most recent international standard, the System of National Accounts, 2008 (SNA08). The database provides a systematic summary of Australian national economic activity on a fiscal year basis, detailing the transactions of the major institutional sectors. Key current and chain volume measure national accounting aggregates and most sectoral income and outlay accounts and capital accounts begin in 1959/60. Historical current and constant price data back to 1948/49 is also included as are selected series from 1900/01.
The database includes over 5,000 annual (fiscal year basis) time series.
ABS National Accounts is released annually. The 2013/14 release was issued in November 2014.
The database is organized into eight Sections: Summary Tables & Productivity Estimates, Sectoral Accounts, Industry Estimates, Capital Estimates, Government Accounts, National Balance Sheet, Net Capital Stocks, and Historical Tables.
