This database contains residential property price indexes in nominal and real terms. In addition it contains rental price indexes and ratios of nominal prices to rents and to disposable household income. Nominal price indexes are broken down where possible by regions and cities within each country, by dwelling type (single- and multi-family) and vintage (new and existing).
The dX format database includes the index number series from the three OECD datasets: Analytical House Price Indicators; National and Regional House Price Indices - Headline indicators; and National and Regional House Price Indices.
Data is available for the OECD member countries, Euro area, OECD-Total and some non-member countries.
The OECD house price datasets are updated following the data releases of individual countries.
